The fabulous Godlee Observatory is one of the most interesting places to visit in town. Established in 1902, the Godlee Observatory is an old astronomical observatory owned by the University of Manchester. Currently home to the Manchester Astronomical Society. If the weather is good, not only will you be able to watch the sky, but your will get spectacular views of the city including the Hilton Deansgate Hotel located on the Beetham Tower.
